Same-day denture repairs Port Macquarie

At Port Denture Clinic, we want to make your experience with us as pleasant as possible. We work closely with your dentist, preparing temporary dentures prior to your tooth extraction procedure. This results in no downtime, so you’ll never be left without a full mouth of teeth. Once your gums have healed from the extraction procedure, we will then fit your new dentures for comfort.

No referrals are required, so if you’ve been considering dentures, talk to our team. For more information, you can also visit our FAQ page. Appointments are claimable on all health funds and DVA.

Partial Dentures — Emergency Denture Repairs in Port Macquarie NSW

Full & Partial Dentures

What’s the difference between full and partial dentures? Full dentures are intended to replace a complete mouth of teeth, whereas partial dentures replace one or more teeth, but not a full mouth. At Port Denture Clinic, we manufacture both removable full and partial dentures, depending on your requirements.

Broken Denture

Emergency Repairs

You don’t realise how much you rely on your teeth until you can’t use them. For this reason, we have our own in-house welding machine to make repairs to dentures the same day you come in. Less downtime means less hassle.

Relines Dentures — Emergency Denture Repairs in Port Macquarie NSW

Relines & Modifications

Denture relines or modifications may be required from time to time due to dental work or natural changes to your gum formation. We aim for a same day turnaround, working with your dentist to minimise the time you are without your dentures

Immediate Dentures
Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures

An immediate denture is a complete denture or partial denture inserted on the same day, immediately following the removal of natural teeth. Your dentist must first confirm which teeth will be removed, then we begin impressions and measurements prior to your extractions. Once we have a date that the dentures will be ready we can liaise with your dentist and book your extraction appointment for you. Follow up appointments are important, and you will require a reline to modify the shape of the fitting surface after your bone has finished healing and changing shape.

Sports Mouthguard

Sports Mouthguards

A properly fitted mouthguard worn during sporting activities is designed to help protect your teeth, lips and gums from damage. We custom mould our mouthguards to the shape of your mouth to create a secure fit. Choose from a vast arrangement of colours and styles to make your mouthguard fun and unique. Adults and children alike can request a sports mouthguard at our clinic.

Your teeth, and your child’s teeth, are an investment. The best way to protect them is with a custom fitted mouthguard. Even when your child’s teeth are moving and changing, their mouth guards are designed to allow this movement throughout their sports season.

Implant Options- Mini Implants

Removable Implant Overdentures

Each implant that the Dentist or Oral Surgeon has surgically placed in the jawbone holds a metal attachment. This allows a “press stud” mechanism, allowing the patient to remove the denture for cleaning in between meals. The main benefit of Implant Retained Overdentures are that the denture is held in place and becomes able to resist the forces from the muscles in the lips, tongue, and cheeks.
